    it was now time to start stripping the whole of the bottom of the car to bare metal

    as anyone who has done this job will testify it's the worst job going, It took me 2 weeks solid and I was locking up Marks workshop at midnight some nights

    so a combination of nail gun, nitromors, angle grinder with wire brush and dremal gives you





    couple of very dodgy pics of me on my "holidays"









    next step was revving up the grinder and making all the welds look pretty with a the help of a skim of stopper

                got a laptop again, so time to get this thread back up to date

                after the etch primer all the panels were seam sealed then it copped 2

                coats of 2 pack primer filler









                the wings also got the same treatment
