got the lights in today , the doors built up , fuel lines on, oil cooler connected and my new clutch cable etc came today so should be running on sunday



also got my wheels but still not sure on them but they are different

yes keep the capri rims, ive seen a few mk2's and they look cool. didnt the custom run a set a wee while back?? gonna look ace, shame i wont be at cumbria to see it, im sure vinny will take lots of pics for me

Kev and Jim were up today so got quite a lot done propshaft fitted,
exhaust fitted ( after some cutting and welding ) , last of the fuel pipes connected, tramp bars fitted , wiring loom fitted and rear lights in , water hoses all fitted , colum switches fitted, new battery lead to the boot fitted .
filled the tank with petrol connected up the battery turned over to get the oil pressure up put the plugs back in poured some petrol down the carbs turned the key and it started first time..
just got the brakes to sort , slight problem with the head lights , put the interior in , put the stripes on and to take the boot lid off and jump on it to get it to fit properly and will need to paint it again and hopefully get it MOT next friday............

got the brakes bled last night and the lights working, tonight got a new pipe made for the servo and made up a battery tray for the boot just need to paint it and fit it on friday along with 2 steering rack boots and some split pins to be ready for the mot and take the wheels of the mex
