The car is stripped of all its mechanicals, after the grinder was so good as pass on some nice old pics he found ive decided to put it back to how it was

Still have to locate quite a few parts, scheel seats without slots, gen period baby atlas with correct brackets, bag fuel tank, grp1 exhaust to name a few

Malcolm did give me quite a bit info when we spoke and the pics that ruddy got me gave alot more detail. Also need a set of harnesses the same as in gerards x. rocket box, steel sump gaurd, and some photos in the and of the interior.

the problem is that the car was supplied by county garage as a std road car then ford supplied all the parts then malcolm built the car himself with further backing/funding from boyh ford and county garage. So the car was one of a kind and dont have other cars to copy

Update

Sadly the car has seen no work for over a year now, mainly due to a change of plan. The car is now sitting with not a single mechanical part and the aim is to collect everything required to put it to exact spec when malcolm had the car. Also I made the mistake of painting the car orange underneath which i now want to change to dove grey with the relevant overspray. So until i have all the right bits and the remaining detail pictures required im going to leave out of sight and out of mind

That's a cheap picture compared to what some can cost.
I know John is after detail shots, engine bay, interior & boot.
It's like searching for a needle in a haystack but someone out there will have some pics.

Chelt rs, Mark, I did see this picture and Darrall aka sharks told me of this guy. I made contact asking if he could have a look for detail pics. The guy seems to be very private and wanted to deal through ebay only??

Ive exhausted many leads on detail and many people have helped, Gerard, ruddy, mexicomark, dave watkins and many others inc malcolm himself. i think its now down to lady luck and hope that someone will turn up with the detail pics and rare parts.

A big thankyou to all of you who have helped so far and one day it will all come together

Well after a cracking weekend at the lakes and a visit to M-sport and seeing the 5 tonne bridge picture there I thought it time to bring things up to speed before one of you lot ask

Now where do I start........

The car at the moment? It's sitting at my mums out of sight and mind until ive got the remaining parts and info. Also there are a few changes to make to bring the shell back to a std rs shell, and I painted the car orange on the underside which im now regreting so that will have to go!!!

Parts needed

GRP1 exhaust manifold
GRP1 downpipe
GRP1 dizzy
Proper period roll cage
Kangol harnesses
Rear quarter cards
period world cup crossmember
Early rs2000 wiring loom with the grey connectors
Period brake fluid bottles
Mint black consol

Others
Build the engine
Get a period replica atlas axle built

Now for the hard bit!! I need various pictures of the interior and in the boot area to show the detail required to get this car right. Things like- trip meter, maplight, switches and no doubt there will be other extras. Now theres in the boot, as many know the car was fitted with a works bag (fuel) tank. Now works cars had electric pumps but this car did'nt so i need the pictures to find out how the fuel lines ran etc and again there will be others in that boot that were non std if you like.

For now Ive only worked 5 out of the last 12 months so the funds are not there to spend on the bigger things and TBH im struggling to get the pictures needed.
