the restoration begins

now got both sills done just got the front of the drivers side to finish as it didn't include the bottom of the pillar both floor pan welds ground down and primed, seat runner and rear seat mount back in ground and primed just got the bulkhead to floor pan joints to do and that the big repairs done it's back to the easy stuff like arches and fitting new panels and minor rust repairs

Been another 2 years but got some more done if I could only put the new bits on instead of having to sort bad repairs form the past it would get done quicker. Had to reshape and fit a new lip to the bootfloor as it was all bent from before I had it,had to cut the n/s chassie leg off straighten it and the bootfloor then weld it all together again before I could fit the new back panel also had to do some pushing and pulling to get the gaps correct as whoever fitted the quarters didn't do it very well.

Got all the holes drilled and dressed in the floor pans and sorted the gaps on the wings and fitted the nosecone as it was getting a bit out of shape with being of for so long,so will leave it fitted as long as I can to get it's shape back

Thats all for now but may get some more done over the next week

Been nearly another year but got the floor painted and back on its wheels just got some brazzing to do and fit the roof and wings and it should be ready for painting











had to replace the gutter rail as it was rotten from having a skin fitted in the past

Roof now all fitted and filled just to seal along gutter rails and finish paint stripping and prime it just wings to fit and get it readfy for paint











also sorted the tight boot gap
