It wasn`t that bad to be honest, well it didnt seem so from the outside, I had the inner and outer rear arches and a rear valance put on 4 years back which made it look quite tidy then both wings started rusting at the point where they join the nosecone so i took it off the road to sort the front out and never got round to actually doing it.

Decided about 12 months back to start work on it again and put new inner sills on and a front floor panel in the passenger side. Now in the process of getting it stripped so the front can be blasted and then its off to a local bodyshop for the necessary repairs to make it solid again. Its having new outer sills, wing rails, wings. slam panel, front panel, new panel in front of passenger a post and bits on the shell like roof pillars, scuttle panel, bulk head lip tidying. Also need the top of the inner wing and beneath the top plate sorting too.

Got the wings from a show at Stanford Hall 5 years back, Roy Nunn was the bloke who sold em to me at 125pound a side.

Most of the other bits have been sourced over the last 2 years from ebay and advertisers in classic ford. Apart from the wings and door bottom repairs the other stuff is still easy to get hold of.

Wing mounting rails were 31.75 for the pair inc delivery from peter lloyd
Front panel was 54.00 from west wales rally spares
Slam panel was 30.00 from west wales rally spares
Outer sills were 18.50 the pair from local motor factors
Scuttle panel was 55.00 inc delivery from escort-tec
2 doors in good condition 420 inc delivery from escort-tec
Bulkhead side panel was 16.00 from ebay
