Found RS in barn

Hi all,

Some of you MAY rememer that I had spotted an RS in rally trim in a barn locally......however, as yet I haven't been back to see the owner, but the girlfriend was there today regarding another matter and managed to take a few pics. The car for some reason has been sat outside for the past few weeks.

The car has sat for the last 7 years (in the barn). The woman used to co-drive her husband, the car having sat since he unfortunately died some years ago. The car has great sentimental value to her, she unsure if she wants to sell. I've been meaning to go back and see her......

I have seen under the bonnet, and apparently it still runs. You can't see in the pics, but the floorpans are solid (original), no carpets reveal a nice white floor. The inner wings etc all look ok, no obvious holes or rot.

Question is.......what is it worth????

if the owner doesn't give you a starting price ,just offer £500 and go from there.it's worth that all day long.
