I'd not seen this series before but caught it on Discovery Turbo yesterday - I watched a couple, taped the rest and am weatching the Maserati one now.

It looks a cracking series, which looks at the motor racing history of some of the greatest car makers including Aston Martin, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Lotus as well as Maserati.

It includes lots of racing history and close up shots of the information on the engines, boxes, drivetrain, chassis etc and stacks of driving with the proper soundtrack of the engine and gearbox - none of this music nonsense.
