    absolutely atrocious weather here in South Wales, was going to go to Ryder cup final day but have now abandonded plans for that, apparently the Golf is on hold untill this afternoon


    incredible amount of heavy rain falling

    I work outdoors most of the year so we are well geared up for a few drops.

    No such thing as bad weather! Just inappropriate clothing!

    a very wet trip yesterday from Evesham to B'mouth with usual traffic queues on A34/M3/M27 oh the joy..

    ****ing down allday here , good news is the oldskool BMW loves going sideways in the rain . Got a 60mph slide on down the trading estate leaving the dump and the refuse boys were cheering and waving .

    Been working in gillingham in dorset last 3 days and 2 of those it has ****ed down all day....i thought It was supposed to be sunny down there

    had rain all day, went from yorkshire to syston near leicester, the across to lincoln, then upto ollerton, nott,s, then back up to yorkshire and it,s stiil bloody raining. home and showered and changed, taking the better half out for a few beer,s then a meal.
    and the best bit is i have next week offf, so i can make a start on the
    winter job,s on the escort.
    suupose to brighten up tomoorrow.

    Don't know what first post from Poole's got to complain about! - average rainfall in Poole Harbour is supposed to be almost half what we used to endure in the hills of West Dorset (which once recorded the highest in a day for England).
    Here in this part of Shropshire (according to 167awo) we get half the rainfall of a few miles closer to Wales (where they're used to it of course...).
