Go for it Kev, I got the 3G on 02 before xmas, seems good no problems here, and I even jailbroke it last night so I can put "unofficial" apps on it..

Like Bill said the battery is not the best, but great for emails, surfin, eBay facebook etc

got the 3gs 16gb here for crimbo and its great so far does the heap well

I have a 3GS 16gb and it is very good. Although it does take some getting used to over a normal phone. I went to 02 because where i live the orange signal is on the bad side of crap! The only thing I'll say about the iphone is you will never get anything done because you're always messing with it! Camera is ok but has no flash and the video is ok but again is no good anywhere that has even a hint of the dark! Really it's just a tiny computer with a phone on it.
