I live in Larne and it's a regular run for me down the coast road and then on to Ballycastle, As well as the main road there is another road from Cushendun to Ballycastle Via Torr head which used to be a stage of the circuit of ireland and this is really twisty with some scary drops and great hairpins. I'll try and get some photos the next time I'm down that way.

                Hi bigjohnie,

Yes that is a very popular tourist road, very twisty road but plenty of good scenery, pubs, B&Bs etc. It is especially popular with motorbikers as you can imagine. Its a bit like Rally Monaco, with some bits having a very unforgiving stone wall.

                All the best,

                Martin.

Know every inch of this road John. The one PMURF125 is talking about is called the corkscrew. Watched Billy Colman Cathal Curly and the likes in the Circuit of Ierland mid 70s

Cracker of a road. Glad you found it. I take it you enjoyed it from inside your car and didn't freeze your knackers off exploring the WW2 lookout post on the top of the hill.
