  • Whats the worst ..

...thing you have ever found in your car, just nipped down the street in my Volvo and something caught my eye under the front passenger seat. Turned out to be a packet of sausages that must have fallen out of the shopping, expiry date was the beginning of March .....

Every day after the kids have been in the car I find, crisps, sweets, empty packets and on a bad day chocolate on the seats

I've banned them from taking pens in the car as I'd end up with ink all over the seat backs

This is in my Audi A4 as I won't let them near the RS
        Cheers

A new 5 litre container of oil in the boot.

Empty, as the lid had popped off (clever Halfords design)

Oil was soaked into the boot carpet and running into the spare wheel well.

It didn't even stop it from going rusty
                  Cheers Rob.

                      omg that is disgusting

my story goes, many years ago i parked my 16i in the garage and about 10pm i had to go out and on opening the garage door i thought i heard something inside the garage, couldnt see anything. anyway i went to the local shops and back again and put car away in the garage. About an hour later next door neighbour came round and said have you seen our kitten and with that we heard a meowing noise in the garage, couldnt see anything, but on inspecting under the car the kitten had climbed inbetween the swinging arm and body. It would not come out, in the end had to lower petrol tank etc to get this bloody cat out. Im sure it must have been there when going down the shops lol

Theres a lurker who frequents this BB with a tale of a cat and a car ....

He's the type of guy with a bit of money, buys a new car and simply puts his old one to the back corner of the garage. He did this with a Mondeo, tucked it away and left it unattended for 12 months or so, gets in it after this time and thinks "someones left a sweater on the floor in the back" leans over to pick it up only to find the mummified remains of a cat. It had crawled in through the open sunroof and didn't get back out, mummifed, liquified and putrified, the carpet was beyond repair and the car was moved on ......

I think he has an MG in the garage as well but even a stray cat wouldn't sleep in one of them ....

A mate had a 1300e which he had owned only for a few weeks (early 80's ) we were welding up the outer sills (after a little off ) when we had a little fire start in the area in front of the rear wheel and the rear quarter pannel.Took inner quarter off and put hose in to put fire out then pulled out about 6 used jonnies a pair of minging Y fronts c/w skid and scortch marks and a tie die teeshirt.

In my RS1600 (Mex Engine fitted though) when at College I found some 1/2 eaten Fish & Chips which I had put under the seat when ****ed one night about 3 months earlier ,I wondered what the stink was and just thought it was the legacy of when I had lent my car to a mate who had biffed the local bike in the back after the local Dance. The paper had as much mold growth as fish in it.Even Spence wouldn't have eaten it LOL
