Insurance

My Insurance is due for my RS.
But it will be off the road till next spring in my garage, with work being done over the winter.
Is it worth insuring now or waiting till spring?
What if it got nicked or garage had a fire, does house insurance cover it?
I dunno, what do you boys do about insurance when your cars off the road?

House insurance will not cover Stu.....expensive items need to be stated on house insurance. Just carry on paying is the best.....not too much is it?......£90.00 for my mK2 fully comp.

ask your insurance company if they do a storage policy. as its name suggests, its designed for cars in storage and covers against theft, fire etc but doesnt have cover for road use, so is therefore normally quite a bit less than normal insurance

Mine stays insured all the year round as you never know when someone wants to use the pic for the ebay.........

i personally would keep it insured all year,
