Curborough mk 2 day

with the pictures of SKC performing in a very natural looking enviroment and with its central location would not this track be a great place to hold a mk2 day next year or in the future ?
ive never been there myself,so ultimately dont know the layout, but is there enough room for a track blast and static show ?

just an idea ?

id say there would be plenty of room there,i was up there sprintin and there was 90 entre plus support car and trailer and spec

The MK2 club have been making noises about having a day there. (I've been on about it for ages) Tis a great idea as even some of the more "Carefull" owners can even take their cars round as it is super smoothe so won't have to worry about stone chips etc Would even take the Mex round for a blast

Rallye Sport Escorts will be looking into having a MKI + MKII event at Curborough as it is such a well contained venue and can be no more punishing than a thrash around your local ring road

Of course push your car as hard as you like but still great fun

All the track can be viewed from a lot of the spectator areas

Loads of parking and "tyre kicking" area as well

Have to agree this sounds like a very good Idea.....
After organising an old skool track day Dave this should be a piece of cake.

If it's promoted right & you get a mag along too it should be tops.
