Andy and Guy are collecting the engine tomorrow - it won't have been run on the dyno by then, the bloke doing it wanted to give the engine back on Wednesday evening That wasn't going to work, as the car is going on the trailer first thing Thursday morning.
So when it gets back from the NEC it's all coming apart again and the engine will go back to the dyno, hopefully it won't be there for 6 weeks before anything happens this time
Word on the street is that this engine exploded whilst over at the rolling road . Is this true ?

the engine didnt explode.. it never has been on a rolling road. what happened was that after being on the dyno for 4 hours and having some power runs the friction washer on the crank let go and bent 4 valves.wanted to key way it in the first place but was built to the cosworth caterham manual. spoke to cosworth usa and they have had a few fail on the friction washer. it was making 180ft/lbs at 4000rpm with loads to go. now is going back on the dyno with full keyways in the crank,
