|I bought this as an unfinished project as an ex rally car that has had a lot of hammer, it has been by the look of it a competitive car in its early day's.
The current spec is:
Historic 2.0 litre pinto lightened and balanced flywheel, adjustable cam pulley, Burton BL63 cam with big valve head and brass valve guides, twin 48's, aldon distributor with lumenition electronic ignition. Rolling road was set at 187BHP but is yet to be re tested.
Racing clutch, Type 9 gearbox (going to be changed), Single piece propshaft,
50" strengthened Atlas Axle with capri uprated LSD 4.6 CWP, XR3i vented discs and calipers, Bias pedal box with hydraulic handbrake.
Front - Bilstein adjustable coils insert rating not known yet. Twin cam anti roll bar and on car adjstable TCA's.
Back - 4 linked with panard rod, Square box with bilstein upright shock absorbers and 5 leaf slipper springs.
8 x 13" minilite wheels being refurbed Gold as period.
My hope is to get it back on the road and not neccessarily rally it but I keep changing my mind on the parts I use, Hopefully it will be done in current guise late summer and taken to bits again over next winter for extra strengthening and up rating.
