Anybody like the look of the new RS?

I DO.....but not sure whether to flog the old girl (the car that is..) to put down a reasonable downpayment...

What do peeps think of the Focus then??

Must admit I've not see it, but why would you flog the RS (it is appreciating) to buy a car that will loose 7K when you drive it off the forecourt?

Nice if you have it I suppose, I think I'd stick with the MkII myself

Not a patch on the Mk2 RS, though i guess with the way Mk2 prices are at the moment, financially it might be a wise decision, but i'd wait for a second-hand one to avoid the aforementioned depreciation.

In other pics I've seen it looks nicer, not so aggressive, what with the bonnet louvers etc in looks a bit too laddish IMO, bit more understatement would be nice. Will it finally be 4–WD, have Ford actually developed a decent 4–WD system since the Sierra system?

Possibly not if the car is to stay under 160–170 ppm CO2

Ye there talking 280 bhp to the front wheels ok on tarmac but get some of that wet stuff i like to see it handle. I had the old rs focus from new had it two years went back to a escos much better drive
