Most insurers will do a laid up policy

do you think your shell will be stolen while its getting built.

why have a laid up policy if you are restoring a car at your house?

          Dave.

Garage could burn down, happened to friends of mine and they lost 4 mk2 Escorts in a blaze, doesn't matter if they're on the road or in bits, they're still burn!

I have a laid up policy which covers TPTF with Footman james, just over £50 for the year.
