        inner sill welded to made front and rear floors

        floor tacked in a post removed and hinge panel removed

        new a post inner/ outer/org hinge panel welded in place
        kick panel in place
        .

        new piece welded in scuttle end

        new front chassis leg made inner /outer/closing panel

        new flitch panel made with outer chassis

        well the corner had to come out
        flitch panel and chassis clamped up

            Cheers Tim He's some operator, it's great to see the car having such an excellent standard of work being done to it. Can't wait to get up there soon and have a closer look !

              Your man is a genius mate pure quality work going into that. There wont be much of the origanal metal left when its finished. Cant wait to see the end result and I take my hat off to you for taking it on.

                  Excellent work being done on your Mex, bet you were less than impressed when you discovered its true condition (been there) as looked a tidy car from the pics.
                  At least this way you know the car is right and will last.
                  Certainly helps finding someone with the skills and passion for these cars, sure cars are being saved now that would simply have been scrapped off not too long ago.

                    Cheers lads The only bit of the old car that'll be left on the front end will be the support under the slam panel As for when I realised how bad she was to say I was farting fire was an understatement. Thought I knew a bit about them when I went to look at her but I knew feck all by the state it turned out to be. It's all a learning curve sure what can you do
