So today, while the sun shone, we did

I'm not surprised they are so heavy and rust so much, how complicated are they underneath

You enjoy the pics and I'll be on another site ordering panels ...

Had a few hours trying to get the N.O.S door to line up, taking a bit of messing about, need this lined up nice with rear 1/4 and the sill then I can get cutting the sill off and door will be my ref' point for new panels.

Hope I don't get the parts mixed up

Had a couple of hours today on the shell, decided it was time to remove some panels, firstly an exploratory cut in the front wing to see how bad it is and what runs where, knew there was a loom in there somewhere, was quite pleased with the panel behind, again the wee bit of surface rust at the top looks worse in photo, the sill has a couple of holes at the bottom and front but this is to be replaced anyway, inner arch has expected rot where it meets the wing, again I have a new inner tub ready to go in, nose panel where the 4 bolts are is perfect. Also removed lower rear sill, not impressed with the pattern repair panel, will need some work to get a very good fit, seems too long. Had to stop for a while as there was a show on locally and the last remaining flying Vulcan bomber was buzzing the unit, awesome sight and sound

                                cheers, Paul
