  • Been messing about with old parts

I noticed a long time ago the mirrors on my RS2000 were angled a bit too far down. Then worked out the isolator pads were missing. After a long hunt through my bits i found a spare passenger remote mirror with an isolator pad on. but no drivers door one, so copy one started and a passenger one made.
Then mirrored and copied as a drivers side.

I had these in my hand on Monday night along with some of the other items that he has made and Rob has done an excellent job of re-creating these hard to find parts.

Yes they are 3D printed. The quality is good enough not to look crap. The parts can be sanded with fine wet and dry to polish up to the same as the moulded parts, if you could be bothered.
These are not "concourse" replacemant copies, just a sensible option to unavailable parts.

Got lots of stuff done for the Sapphire Cosworth. Just got the final fit to sort on them.
