I am shocked, but the years are going on, gave a lot of entertainment and a gentleman, -
Very sad. I was lucky to meet Hannu a few times on RAC, Manx and Mintex rallies years ago, and more recently at NEC classic car shows with his mate David Sutton. A very friendly person happy to talk about his time as a rally driver. A great ambassador for the Ford Escort. RIP Hannu.Comment

Speaking of, does anyone know if David Sutton is still alive? I haven't had an email from him in over 12 years (he dictated them to his secretary!)Comment

Yep, I'm afraid so. Luckily for Hannu, he was able to do both something he loved and something to entertain people, which most of the rest of us mere mortals don't get the chance to do
