Managed a couple of hours on the car today.
I removed a section of floor over the front leg join and came across this

The previous owner had fitted a new floor section over this and not bothered doing anything with it
Rear leg was rotten where it joins to centre section but a little further back its solid

So managed to get the new section welded in at the front

Now run out of mig wire doh!

I trial fitted the floor this morning, marked the area where the chassis rails go then drilled 6mm holes along the length of the panel along the line of the legs then put some weld through primer on the floor

Dropped it back in and started to weld

It fitted great, no problems at all

Apparently the floor to inner wing panel is unavailable so i had to make something to do the job

Once they were in i made a start to fit the watts linkage floor roll

Only got as far as cutting it out as i removed all the paint from the boot floor and came across quite alot of rust

This is an epic build Mike, I take my hat off to you.

I need a few panels to fix mine (nothing like as many as you!) - SD don't seem to have web site but quite a few people sell Magnum, and they seem good, so I'll go for them.

Quickly lobbed the O/S inner wing off this evening

And came across this triangulation which i have never come across before

Not quite sure what it would strengthen but i applaud the effort

Got the seat rails welded in

And got most of the inner wing to bulkhead removed

And over the weekend i hope to get this corner from the damaged shell chopped up and installed into this shell

Off work for a while now so it will come together quite quickly now
