  • Little more progress today. Not really visual but necessary

    Harness lower mount threads

    Handbrake and hydraulics captive threads

    And removed the interior light mount for the cage

      Had to profile the hoop where it meets the floor plates just so it would go into place

          Top section of the door bar needs shortening for some reason, it doesn't sit in line as you can see

                      think this has answered something I've always wondered, do the manufacturers stand over welded cages based on a sample you send them?

                        • It pained me to cut holes in my new floor to let the cage through

                          Had to do that to weld the top of the screen section
                          But now its sat back in on its feet and all 6 feet are fully welded


                          Theres still one or two bars to weld in yet

                          And some extra fancy bits

                            • Today only having an hour or so spare, i decided to remove the O/S door skin.
                              And even though they are only 3 years old the rust that had made a return was amazing


                              It'll have to go to be shot blasted now then i can see what comes back
