I now realise that what happened with YUE killed it for me with Escorts (I would still have it now...........) REG was (is) a wonderful car but was so far from YUE in being completely standard. I just never fell in love with it & didn't enjoy driving it When I sat with Helen & had a very long talk about it all I then made the decision to sell as My current 911 had come along
Glad it has now found a good home & hope it will be returned to bog standard (Has it still got that other engine fitted with the nasty twin carbs?)

Yes I remember that day Kev and it must have been heartbreaking

Still has the engine on twin carbs but thankfully andy does have the original engine for it
