Even using the wider ex-pressed steel arch - there is a gap which will need to be filled

To give an idea of just how bad the previous repairs were - here is the patch work quilt that made up the wheel arches!!

The replacement six dial dash is installed

Bulkhead Corners

The finish on the bulkhead corners wasn't the greatest





So a small skim of filler is applied

Rear Scuttle Panel

As with most of this car - has been previously repaired badly



The entire rear bulkhead, parcel shelf and rear scuttle are going to be replaced with a cut from the donor car





Unfortunately it's not going to be as easy as just weld in the replacement panel - as the inner scuttle has some rust

So the repair will involve the best parts of both panels and a new fabricated inner scuttle panel.
