My car is sitting in bits on a Jig - got about a week or so of work before I need tubs!!

I'll try Roy Nunn - would you have any contact info for him - tried googling!!

Thanks again

I'll have a look pal, got it somewhere

You may have noticed the odd green panel appearing - I've purchased a donor car for the many panels and parts that simply aren't available anymore.

Bulkhead Repair

Some work is needed around the transmission tunnel/bulkhead area.

So cuts are taken from the donor car.

The original bracket is a much better job than the one from the pattern part - it has tabs to secure it to the boot floor - which were missing from the pattern part.

Dash Replacement

The old dash has been removed from the shell

And the replacement dash from the donor has also been removed

The replacement dash is now off to be media blasted - and then needs a small repair before fitting.

Thumbs up Helluva job

Mate,
You must be very keen or shells are like hens teeth to put so much metal back into a car. Most people would have sent that to the scrapman. Great workmanship. Len

Work continued on the replacement dash

The drivers side A pillar is slightly in the wrong position so a porta power is used to 'push it to the correct place.

With adjustments made the replacement dash is test fitted

Drivers Side A-pillar repair

The A-pillar is made up of three parts.

Inner Door Jamb - number 5

Door Hinge Panel - number 3

These panels sandwich the A pillar (number 9) which has the door hinges and door check strap attached to it.

Because of previous repairs the inner panel is pretty knackered - this panel is not available to buy - so a new one is fabricated.
