Plus they would sell twice as many DVD's with a proper Escort in it .
that sounds good, as long as they kill off the owner

Professional rally driver Ken Block seemingly managed to close down the entire of San Francisco to make an incredible short film showing him tearing around the city in a seriously souped-up Ford Fiesta.

                    Hi,

I was having a google around for F&F6 as we also had a MK1 which was bought by the production company. I found this thread so just had to add to it...

We had owned our MK1 Escort a number of years and competed in it hard over the time at Harewood, Three Sisters, Loton Park and occaisionally at
                    Croft.

                    Croft

I personally own a Pug 205 which I used to compete in (that is until the arrival of my little lad which means I don't get the time now).

Back to the Escort. It's a RS2000 with an original RS2000 engine on 50 downdraughts with Quaife Pro Sport box. It had an "incident" at 3 Sisters a few years ago which ended up with it being rolled. This was a fine opportunity to fit bubble arches. The shell wasn't that damaged, but enough that it needed a lot of work so arches went on for the next season

Here's the Escort as sold to the Production company.
Sad to see it go, but it didn't get the use it should recently as the competition fees were getting viciously high for the amount of "track" time you got.

                    Interior

Hopefully we'll see it again at some point in the film, and not in a massive fireball !

                    Mark
