    Well over the last 40 odd years I have had lots of different Escorts and for the first time I have no ford in the house ,,,,,, Maybe its time for a change ,,,

        Working on an 1989 BMW E30 at the moment. Its a pleasure to be able to phone the local BMW dealer with lists of part numbers for pipes, clips, body &engine parts, even the little clips on the brake lines, and be told "yes, they're available, they'll be here on Wednesday.

                    Chevette hatch would be a great little car. HSR would be the obvious one to go for.... but V expensive now. Must have been 20 of them at Rally Day in Castle Combe last year.....stunning ��
                    Difficult to find a good standard hatchback now though....

                            Road rallied a kadett coupe in the early 90's then moved on to a chevette running an all steel 1300 xflow, single 45 weber, straight cut quaife box etc...what a great car it was and imho better than an escort.

                              Hi Robert could not agree more with you,restoring a E36 M3 at the moment and all the parts i need are just a call away to BMW dealership and at a very fare price as well.
