Do you know where in China they are being produced? I work for a Chinese company and travel there quite a lot - think there might be an emergency board meeting.... If you can get any contact details, I can get one of my guys to do some exploring...

this is long overdue I hope the rally guys will make use of the shells as it,ll ease the demand for shells and in turn keep the price of a road going shell at a sensible level, think of all the very hard to get panels that are currently unavailable that will soon b on the shelves!!

Points based system determines it, if done legit.

cheaper to buy a new shell than buy all the panels needed and get someone to fit them, that's if you have a crap shell in the first place!

if the quality is good why not just scrap your rotten shell an reshell with this am sure dvla will figure out what to do identity wise quite a few people skeptical about it didnt harm the other cars that went down the same route ie heritage shells hasnt semmed to have hurt 5hem to bad

its a brand new shell so easy enough to re shell an old car into it including the i.d.

Yes you just put all your bits into the new shell and put the old ID on . Saves replacing the roof , bulkhead , floors , inner wings etc etc cos of rust .
They look a bit ropey though unless the panels where fitted by a blind bloke but at least it's a start .
Let's hope they make mk1's as everyone prefers a proper Escort .

Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!
