Yeah I'm going to leave the 6 dial dash in, too much hassle to change it back. Mines running a 1600 xflow.

    cheers, Stu.

Thanks all! Have been making some progress but the more I look the more I find things that need doing! Put some NOS wing badges on in the correct place, as the old scruffy ones had been stuck on in the wrong place with double sided tape! Satin blacked the front panel behind the grille, stripped the black paint off the grille. Fitted some new rubbers to the rear doors as they were missing, that was one of the reasons I was getting gassed when driving it!

A few pics with the front grille back on & new headlamps fitted, looks much better I think

Cheers! Yes the indicator is on the to do list, along with many others! Whoever put it back together after the body was done has just thrown it back together I reckon, I'm getting OCD on it now & trying to get everything how I want it!

                  cheers, Stu

Cheers! I've not been on here much lately either.
I used this stuff for the door rubbers http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1818...extrusion.aspx
as the rubbers were all missing off mine, I had nothing to go on & couldn't find any originals. They are supplied off the roll but they seem to fit well enough.
The front bumper should really have a starting handle hole I believe, I have a NOS bumper going on it but that's not got the starting handle hole either. Also the front panel has been replaced with the type without the hole in the middle so it's something I will have to live with.
The Ghia seats are comfortable & in good condition, but they are coming out as I've got hold of a standard set of seats that need refurbishing to go in instead.

                      Cheers, Stu

looking at the door on the rear, the stuff looks good, have ya been out in the rain yet or washed the van? im just curious about the water not getting in....
the seats in original format are getting hard to get, ive got one set that need retrimming and would like another for the other van but will wait n see what happens down the line......

                            That's nice!
A pity about the dash as the 6 dial does look a little out of place in a van imo.

If I did decide to do that it won't be in the near future, it would mean windscreen out job & welding/grinding to put it back. Bodywork is all very good on it & I'm happy to leave the 6 dial dash in for the time being. Maybe sometime in the future....

                                Cheers, Stu
