Was hoping to get some more done tonight but some parts I needed turned up on eBay so off I went to middlesborough (20 min drive from me) I ended up with 2 4speed boxes 1 3.89 diff, complete 2.0 pinto carb and fannymold and a 2 piece prop for £70 so i was quite pleased as I was missing some of these parts. Now need to decided wether or not to 5speed it or leave it 4 speed??

little bit more done this evening forgotten i hadnt sorted the cross member or slam panel so i started to box out the cross member, i knocked this up myself on the folder, its not finished yet couple more areas to trim up, weld and dress up

Also fitted the ralloy rad cut out panel i bought to rescue an otherwise solid front panel (this area had been cut off completely in the 90's when the car had a fiat twin fitted....not by me!)

Now this is in the correct position i can fold up some pieces to finish off the rad support panels and finish seam welding the cut out panel. hopefully more tommorow

Made up some sections yesterday to finish off where the rad support panels had been previously butchered. Measured a stock panel, knocked a couple up on the folder and then spotted in place, job done on the front end until I feel like fitting the front panel and wings. Mark came round tonight and got stuck into the drivers side pans and inner sills, at last I have one side that's solid now so hopefully by next week all the floor will be done then time to tackle those back arches!!

Just got to get rid of that total abortion of a gearbox tunnel, hopefully got a good standard one on it's way from a 4door that's being chopped up.

Pintos also stripped and getting rebuild ready to go in whenever the cars done!

Thats looking really well mate, coming on nicely. I havent had chance to sort the floors out yet, but thats the next job I will be on with when I have sorted the O/S door out. I still need to get an A post for it and the outer sills bought.
As for the Harrier, I have only done some small cosmetic stuff on it so far, but once I get my new garage built, I will be stripping it down and doing a full resto on it.

If you want it, get it, before someone else beats you to it.

We might need to replace the offside sill yet as it's got a full sill on top of the original but going by all the other stuff that was clagged over the top of good original metal I won't no until I trim it up later this week. The drivers side sill was good as new so that was rescued.

well i had to order a new nearside sill as the origional wasnt clever underneath the gash cover sill, it looked like the origional sill botton had been removede with an axe! will post some pics up of this over the weekend.
Called into my friend grahams tonight as hes kindly building up the pinto motor for me while im on with the car. its all very recently been done, rebore, 91.75mm new pistons (is this 2.1???) new shells etc so thats a bonus. he has given the block a couple of coats of vht and looks nice enough

hopefully more done on the car over the weekend
