Stunning car fella, best colour by far, does it have metallic Decals?

    Couple more quick questions.

Where did you source the battery and are you using the quick release type Cibie brackets or are they drilled and bolted on?

Decals are dark green. Would like to find some metallic ones.

The battery came from a company called Lincon. I think they specialise in period batteries. They are £140

The Lamp brackets are the correct AVO type and are bolted to the front panel.

Cheers chap, I take it Lincoln will know the correct battery type for a RS2000. I'll give them a ring.

Mmmmm metallic decals would finish her off if that chap has some.

If you want to clarify any details to finish your car let me know and I'll check on mine. Not a lot has been changed since it left the factory. She has a centre console so can't help with the switch positions. :-(.

              Not many with Metalic decals.
Kev C's car has them when he rebuilt it after my shunt. He had a full original boxed set from Ford (but then he would) looks great.
Another is an original car I saw the other year at AVO national day and a well know Southern chap had a low mileage original car a few years ago. I wounder where that car went??

                        • What's the story behind the car chap?

Did you restore it or buy it as an unfinished project.
