According to DVLA has not been taxed since 1985 but has a current MOT.

It may be that some scrote has stolen it but unfortunately there are a lot of facts that may put this in question looking at the history of said car

I wonder how much it's insured for and if the valuation will be accepted when it comes to paying out??

It's not an RS2000 so as an Insurer what do you do when paying out? Owner will say I paid £XXXXX and want that back but you don't always get back what you pay, especially if the car isn't quite as 'genuine' as he thinks.

This one was spotted being driven through Tinsley at 6:49 yesterday evening by 2 lads in baseball caps.

Police checked their camera's & confirmed the sighting.

Hi guys,

I'm the owner of the car.

The first sighting of the car was by several different people that saw it around 6:40-6:50PM in Tinsley. One of the witnesses saw it turn down onto Ackworth Drive (a cul-de-sac).

I went over there at 8am the following day and couldn't spot it but it definitely seemed rather odd how nobody wanted to talk.

It was next seen by several people on Saturday (21st March) around 4PM driving near Meadowhall then onto Ecclesfield Road and lastly around 8PM in Bradfield.

I don't quite get why the thief is driving it in daylight. It's now on nearly 7000 shares on Facebook and everyone seems to know about it.

I heard of a car fire at midnight tonight out in Grenoside so quickly drove over there.

There was not much left to see as the fire brigade had already shifted it. The remains left appeared to be from another car, or so I hope.

It's clearly someone local to the Sheffield/Rotherham area and not exactly a smart cookie.

Everyone has described the driver as a young white male - Seen wearing a baseball cap in the first sightings.

If you see the car, immediately ring 999. Follow at a distance and don't risk endangering yourself.

It had been in storage since 1985 and restored from 2010-2014. I had clamped and in secure storage since purchasing it a couple months ago.

It is uninsured... I was paying my friend to have it in his secure lockup. It was taken out of his section of the various car lots and into the main courtyard to have some work done. The mechanic finished at 5:30PM and when I arrived at 6:50-7PM to put it back in its unit, it had gone.

The groundskeeper said that it was still there at 6:15PM.

I'd rather instead of the unnecessary bitchiness that appears to be thrown around, that you guys would help with spreading the word. I'm only 21 years of age and I can sense that I'm a lot more mature than certain members who are saying rude and uneducated statements.

If you actually care about Ford and the history of classic cars then you'd be interested in the survival of my car.

I most certainly don't mean to paint everyone with the same brush. Please help me be reunited with my Ford.
