  • How to power a garage with no power

    As above

Need to store a friends car as he has gone overseas

But I have no power available , and the lock up is in a horseshoe set up of 12 garages , how can I get power to it ?

Solar panel ? Wind power turbine ?

Can't use a generator as need the carcoon to have power all the time ?

    Any ideas ?

Carcoon will run off a car battery, how long would a big caravan/leisure battery last ?

You can also get solar battery chargers so maybe link one of them to the battery ?

You need to know the load you want to run and what voltage you need.
Ie 2A at 12 V ( if this was the case a car battery of 60Ah would run for 30 hours approx if a good charged battery.)

We have a motorhome and have 2x 100 watt solar panels mounted on the roof topping up 3x 110 amp batteries . This set up provides enough power for a 2000 watt inverter .. only use it for the wifes hairdryer an microwave and well we never run out of power 😉jim
