    Here's one for you...
    I would like to see how much information i can find out on any of the PVX number plate mk1 escorts that you know off or did know of,

    We all know that they were ex ford cars owned by ford for press cars, reps cars, even a couple of works cars, but how many are still around that you know of, they came as mexico's, rs1600, and rs2000 and the odd 1300.

    there were loads of these numbers that were on the escorts and many other fords

      Thanks Dave, looking for any information on the ones still on the road today that peolple know about , especially the early numbers from 140 onwards, i do think that there were some of them that got into the hands of the rallying boys of the time,

            PVX 178? (K or L) Yellow Mexico owned my a chap in the birmingham area. Think the car was originally tawny brown.

                      Looks like someone must of shoved a V6 innit.

                      It looks like 162 wants to be a Twin Cam 1556cc
                      & 174 wants to be a Blue Stripe 1840cc

                          I know 162 is wrong as its an rs1600 electric blue on the original log book from 1971 as i've got that one ,

                            And i know that this car was rallyed , and had a change of engine way back that is why it shows 1556 and it was a twin cam
