Im quite sure its easy to set up, then as everyone fights for a space the money is paid right away. Or if paying by cheque if not recieved within 7 days you loose your place. Bet there would be no trouble then.
I agree Lee and nower days most folk do internet banking

And most people have Paypal so a Paypal Gift could be done there and then.

It's all making Steve and The Lakes Tour team's job much harder due to people who are desperate to be on, but then drag their heels in paying

I wonder if a few are thinking "I'm booked on but I will see if the car is ready before I pay, or maybe see what the weather forecast is like a week before then send the money"

See you all on the Sunday
      Cheers

Too right Martin. The thing I can't understand is that the amount of money for the Lakes entry is a small percentage of what people spend on their pride and joy, surely it's not asking too much to cough up the money quickly.

Andy, you will sometime realise Porsche is the future.

I'd say there is 2 schools of thought regarding payment.

            1) If, like most of us you have ready access to the Forum you have no excuse.

            2) Some, probably the minority work away from home, are overseas or have frequent business trips and need a reasonable amount of time.

Either way setting a deadline is advisable.

Knowing Steve he wishes for the least hassle possible, and certainly doesn't deserve to be messed about.
