Car's still missing, just spoken to the owner on the phone.

He has a lead though so hopefully it will be resolved soon

Pound to a pinch of salt if it was one of the police vehicles them cameras would be working over time to catch the scum bags. They must know roughly where it is
Difficult roads often lead to beautiful places

It's not an RS2000 so as an Insurer what do you do when paying out? Owner will say I paid £XXXXX and want that back but you don't always get back what you pay, especially if the car isn't quite as 'genuine' as he thinks.
So it's not an rs, it's got better spec than an rs,you have an agreed valuation then you can have back what you paid , that's if it's insured ,makes no difference if it's not genuine ,someone has lost it now, spare a thought for the owner, it's a classic car no matter what type of escort it is,

Whats left of it has been found

Posted on Facebook by Mike Haywood

Thank you everyone for your help in regards to looking for my car.

I couldn't be more grateful to the tens of thousands of people that shared it.

Thank you to the newspapers and radio stations that featured it. Most importantly, thank you to the Sheffield and classic car communities that went out in person to search through day and night.

I have had the shell of the car returned to me. It has been stripped to the bare basics. I still see this as a great result as I didn't think I'd get anything back.

The police have several very strong leads that they're following up. It'll be only a matter of time before the people responsible will be punished.

There are still around £15,000 of parts out there. If you know of anything then please get in touch at 07899000233
