        Was it a 1600 from new? if so it's rarer than you think as 2 door Ghias were generally 1300 only apart from early ones that were also available in 1600 form. The 2 door 1600 Ghia was deleted around the same time as the 4 door Sport (around mid 1976).

        Personally i'd keep it looking standard on the outside in that colour with all the chrome and square lights etc, as mark2marty says it would really stand out, there are loads of Mex look-alikes about. But it is of course your choice.

          it's yours do what you want

          Mum had a 1976 metallic bronzy colour 4door with vinyl roof would have looked a lot better if it had been a 2 door was a really nice car at the time [wasn't quite the same after I pranged it] but to be different why not keep the square lights.
