Spit and polish are shite in my recent experience.

I haven't used Lepsons for about 3 years, but Tony and Andy were always very helpful when I was using them.

Spit and Polish couldn't give a toss about customer satisfaction, they want high volume work from dealers having used car alloys done week in week out.
    Cheers Rob.

Spit & Polish did mine a few months ago and did a great job.

I supplied them with the powder coat and they look great.

I had some 5.5" Mk1 alloys done for the Green Mk1 by S&P and they were excellent, I had some 7's done for a mate, and they were shite, after sending them back twice S&P weren't interested in correcting the faults, and sent me the wheels back, stripped to bare alloy and gave me a refund.

At no point could I speak to anyone with any kind of authority, or, for that matter anyone who was interested in listening to what the problem was.

When things go well, fantastic, but as soon as you have any problems they don't want know.

I also know of others from this BB who have had to back wheels to S&P because of faults, and one was told "We don't do Concous wheels, you'd better go elsewhere if you want perfect results"

A mate of mine had an E46 BMW M3 CSL wheel damaged by his tyre fitter, who sent the wheel to S&P, he ended up getting all 4 done by Lepsons because of the crap job done on the single wheel.

                          Don't say I didn't warn you.
                          Cheers Rob.

Folks, for what it is worth I got Lepson's approx 6 months ago to refurb a set of std 6J RS alloys... I was well pleased with them, the Dove grey was exactly as original spec and the diamond cutting left the original finish... Also you have the option to laquer or not...
