MMY 746W 1.3 gl to 200bhp gp4 rally car

[RS2000&MEXICO]

as you all know i am starting my new rally car

over the next year or so i hope to have it in paint...:rolleyes:

but i might not happen as i have another project aswell
the red/white mk2 mexico

so doing two cars might cost a bit to much...i will have to give it a go
and see what becomes of them both

What bad bits.They arn't bad bits you should have seen my starter shell .I bet yours weighs twice as much as mine did when I got it as half of it had rotted away.Please keep regular photo updates of progress.

i am sorry to say that i have now sold the gl....:(
and will only be restoring the mexico....:)

once the gl has gone this week i will start on the mex
i will start a new thread once i start the mex:D

lol...that one i will do.....its just that the gl was going to cost about £30k
and ontop of the mex being about £10k. its not good for me so i will just do the mex and i WILL be ready for cumbria 2007 :eek: and i am yet to start it..:eek: :eek:

i am going to have that dip done that gaz w was going to have that way the shell will be proper mint to start with :D

i allmost have all the bits for the mex aswell

all i need is a
new slipper
2.8i 5 speed box
new janspeed
and a sticker set

and thats it

so i think she will be a minter like RNO 993W :D ...with a bit of luck ;)

gartrac full atlas...............£3250
brakes all round................£1000
front suspension...............£1500
dry sump kit.....................£750
rad and hoses..................£450
seats.............................£500
wheels and tyres x2 sets...£2000
exhaust custom made.......£1000
then there are all the small bits and bobs that are in all the rally cars out there.that lot will come to £4 to £5k easy
eg
plumed in system
intercom
trip meter's
tank
petrol pumps
sticker sets

the list goes on

i think i was going all out with the car thats why its £30k
