I did actually spend the day with some cracking birds, I tried my hand at Falconry ! What a superb day, beautiful weather and lovely creatures :

i did that once...it don't half make you jump when they come in to land on your arm you think there going to hit you...:eek: ...but then they just fold there wings and job done...
very nice looking birds m8....i think the 2nd one likes you..;):p
Time to trade in the chopper for something that can really soar.
Looks like you had a cracking day.

The Harris was about a pound and a half and was a soft as sh!t mate.

Indeed, they are all really tame - except for one bloody big vulture which they would not let me handle
that second one is bloody ugly ................................... still after a few pints she might be all right !!!!!!! :agree:
Looks superb day Arron, the quality of the pics are excellent also. Love the Harris hawk also..you should try and get to Loch Garten in Speyside to the RSPB resverve where the Osprey is ..watching them catch trout is stunning!

Ders, we had an Osprey stop over on The Royal Military Canal in Hythe last year for a week - it was stunning to see, every day virtually the whole town lined the sides of the canal to watch him fish.

Thats what happened the last time i tried fishing everybody was watching but laughing at my casting as well
