well who's the kid who was in classic ford last year !
who made that low mileage mex in to a track car, that was mint too y dint he do it to a shed, like.
i had an email today sent to the dorset rs group from that guy with LFW 276V asking if we knew of the car seeing that a previous owner lived in dorset - unfortunately we dont know of the car, even went back to the late 80's when we were a fledgling "bournemouth group" (aaah them were the days  ) ..................... anyway if it were a 400 or even 36000 miler we would have definately remembered that one

that could be the one brian, ill have to do some more checking around about this......turning a 400 miler into a rally car would not surprise at all as the guys that are rallying want the best shell possible even though loads of it is cut off & binned, there are a few serious ford collectors in ireland.....have seen some of the tidiest standard cars & some RS's but not many........:rr: :rr:
look how much these mad rally guys spend on their mk2's, 50k+ 100k+ or more
£15k on a shell is bugger all
They are nuts.
I'm taxing my RS2000 this week and when I drive it I fully expect to be followed and called on the 'phone by people asking "is it for sale?"
It's a bit annoying tbh.
