I'm 17, and i'm loking for MK2 escort. just a 1600 or less. otherwise i can't afford the insurance. problem is, i know they're not the most common of all cars to come by, but i really want one. if anyone here could help me out, that would be great.
I live in stonehaven wich is near Aberdeen in scotland. so if anyone knows of any MK2's for sale around here, that would be really helpful. thanx in advance.

yeah. my bro has a saxo. lowered 65mm in 17" alloys, with a front splitter that makes the car about 1 inch off the ground. he can't go over many speed bumps. i want something different.

Wish i'd bought a Mk2 when I was 17, good man, top choice of car.

As mentioned, have a look in Classic Ford(new issue out 16th Jan btw) and Retro cars.
Put word out that you're looking.. I found mine this way, mentioned to a friend that I was looking for an RS2000.. he told another friend etc... Bingo, month later I got one. Its amazing but some people have cars like these tucked away in garages and may be persuaded to sell... if not whack 'em with a stick till they hand the keys over :blackeye:
