I'm a volvo mechanic and i'm off next month for a day test driving these new cars.Looking forward to it.they are a big improvement on the old one.
sad thing is they are front wheel drive.

As Chris said, they are FWD but I suppose you can't have everything. I've still got the MKII in the garage for proper fun driving.

I've ordered it in pearlescent black with a beige leather interior.

Nah, Go for a Golf GTiTDi PD150. They're the dogs mate. Just had mine re-mapped to nearly 200bhp. All on a 1.9 Diesel!!!! Torque is immence to say the least!
