YUE is now back on the Mex :D After 2 weeks of moaning it came through yesterday. Now just need to get the plates made. AFG will now be living on, on my Golf.

how much does it cost to get back an orginal plate kev?
Mine when first registered was DAG 277T would love to get it back on its original plates

Cost £80 all in to get the plate back Gaz. there are 2 ways you can do it You can apply to have the original plate back therefore putting HWR on retention which will cost about £120. or, as I did, have HWR transfered to another car (My Golf) then ask for the original plate to be returned to the donor car.(£80) They will need to inspect your car as it is over 15 years of age. Nothing to worry about but if you've had an engine change then they will have to note the new numbers and add them to your log book.
