K+N

4 Branch manifold + free flow system

And a mild tune cam

Rolling road tune

This should see you upto apprx 140 @ flywheel

so say if it was 2.1 , worked big valve head, different cam , twin 48 dellortos with k+n's , what do you think this would be pushing out?

I make 157 without a K+N free flow manifold and 4 branch using 44idf's.

Not bad when Ford managed 160 !!! on their group 1 cars !!

mine made 140 bhp last mnth on sanspeeds rollers..... GRP 1 spec.... only got 600 miles on a re-built engine though, peter the mechanic at sanspeed said, he will tweek it up for me when it has more miles under its belt.... he worked it out to be 120 bhp at the wheels... plenty enough power to make it interesting to drive on damp roads

cheers dave

Pinto really depends on head and cam.....

2.1 helps for sure, but if yer got a standard head and a mild cam, realistically will not see 140.

If yer have a Big Valve Head and a wildish cam you can get 140+ easily.

Gaz, when mine had the 2.1 in made 160, ported the head myself, had a race cam and GRP 1 downdrafts......

was entertaining ;)

Usually loose 18% from fly to wheels in an RS2000.

I guess mine must be around the 145/150 BHP mark then
