What do you guys reckon - have been thinning the fleet out - both Mk1's gone, the 13k GL gone, and now BAY is on the way!

A friend of a friend has shown interest in the Mex (BAY 150T) - I've priced it as £3500 and want to stay firm with the price. Ok, the car will need some work in the future (os arch return just on way out, spare wheel well just starting, small hole under driver's seat x/mem to sill). There may be more to find with a screwdriver! It still has original arches, sills, and inner wings.

Have most (but not all) of the car's history, 110k, mot's and tax discs back to 1984. Even has the Roger Clark Cars numberplates still on it. The car is pretty well much original - have the matching numbers 1600 under the workbench (standard 205 2 litre fitted) and 4 previous owners. There were some pics of it at 2003 National day - where it won 2nd place standard Mex.

Anyway, he has offered 3k flat. I'm sure the car is worth more - but don't want to take the p*ss and ask too much. What do you reckon!

The red one should be finished for the summer, unless the quattro distracts me too much!!!

Thought about keeping the red 'un because of it's history and sell the white car, and that OHK logbook!

Yep - revisiting my 20's when I was a rich (not really - big loans!) young man still living at ma's.

Had a 4 year old 1986 UR in Tornado Red - was only 22 at the time. £1074 insurance through CIS - they were the only company who would insure me! Always wanted one since!

Just treated myself to a 1988 MB engined UR - can't afford the £15k that 20 valves are going for!

So, a couple of the escorts have funded this, and another couple will fund it's maintenance!

I know a man in Nottingham who has 4 of them!!!!! Been trying to get him to part with one of them for years. Might be worth knowing him if you need any spares. PM me and I'll forward his number to you.

One of the reasons I've sold some of the cars off recently - lots of 'local' interest in the cars and attempted break in to my lockup!

Looks like the cars off up to northern territories!

Will be a shame to see it go - 4 years of detailing and parts hoarding!!!

Once the red 'uns done all my surplus goodies will be up for grabs. Will offer them on here before baying them!
