having spent a bit of time looking for some decent brakes i went to a local scrapyard today and had a look around. They had just taken a ford anglia in, not too bad, and could be restored. The pile of cars were mainly modern shite, however it got me wondering if there are any bits on modern cars of use to the MK2 ? i.e volvos for their calipers, and so on.
Any body got any advice, what to look for and what use they could be of.?

There was an article on T-sport about using Volvo 240 front
calipers and bmw e30 front discs, Volvo calipers need a bit of pipeing
I think, somethin to do with the passage ways for the fluid, and pcd holes need to be widened.
I'll see what they have got in at my local tommorow:geek:
