Sun Roof removal?

I have a mk2 and it has a sunroof! How much would I be looking at to get the sunroof removed? Just a thought.

I've got a friend who is a really good panel-beater/painter etc. He has a keen interest in RS2000 cars so would do a good job. He quoted me £700-800 last year to actually chop the roof off my last car and replace it with a second hand one from a donor car. I've seen one he has done before and it was spot on.

You can weld a plate in but you never get the roof lione quite right. I think Mr. Hoarder is doing this on one of his project cars but he is resigned to putting a vinyl on after to complete the effect.

My friend had fitted a roof from these people, he said it was a knightmare as nothing was the right size !

I CHANGED THE ROOF SKIN ON MY MEX AND I NEVER WANT TO DO ANOTHER ONE.HARDEST JOB I'VE EVER DONE,ALSO MOST SATISFYING END RESULT.ASK SOME OF THE OTHER BOYS,THEY'VE ALL SEEN IT.
