Class pictures on your site !
Have you access to a quality printer that does your work justice ?
If so - is it possible to commision a pic of my car in A3 or similar size
Estimate of costs etc - pm me price if you prefer
Hi RS2000CUSTOM,
I am actually returning to the UK next week - along with my laptop and have a few of these images at 4000x3000 EXACTLY for printing at A3 size. I have test printed some on very expensive printers at a colleague's workplace - he works for a motoring magazine. And you cannot see ANY pixels :) I am very happy with the resolution.
I can tell you better in a few weeks about exact cost for a Print.
It is what I am planning on doing - offering them as Posters. My Brother who works in the Motortrade is desperate to get his hands on some :)

Dave,
Would love one of my old white RS........can't wait to get the costs.
Ian.
WOW ! What a great response :)
Seeing as some of you are very interested I'll ask a few questions.
For the MK2s I have modelled them in a 3D Environment surrounded by containers, sitting in the sunlight. For the MK1 I have tried for a Studio shot look.
Which look do you prefer ?
I was initially planning on having some large batches of a few standard setups printed (i.e. White/Blue MK1 RS2000, Silver MK2 RS2000 etc.) and therfore would have good control on getting them printed at a good fair cost commercially at A3 size.
The alternative for one offs would be to print them individually - and therefore might be a little bit more pricey (takes a bit more time to create and then print) - nothing crazy but certainly not at the prices some guys offer prints on E-Bay as what I wuld be creating would be a unique image!
So ... your comments are appreciated - let me know ?
Thanks !
Dave

Hmmm, I think I'd prefer somewhere between the studio and container shots.......maybe the car alongside a kerb (foreground) but with nothing over the back.....no background stuff.
Also, I'd love to have a full size Jpeg supplied in order to re-print myself (got A3 photo-printer)
Ian.
Did you ever get any further with the x-pack, would love a poster of mine :)

all the images are brilliant Dave
one question though in the one below why are the lens on the spots sideways ?
http://www.dmmultimedia.com/multimedia/poster_001_vers_01_detail.jpg
Banishit : Light Pattern, yeah - probably is - but I left it like that - looks a bit different from the normal light lens pattern - but I'll change it back, rotate it 90 degrees CCW.
Ian : I'm sure we could arrange something ;)
Fraz : Nope - not started on the X-Pack, was wanting to do some forest arches first on the MK2 so I could do a Rothmans Rally version. If I have time I will try something.
Just off for a month long break tonight so ... might have some time (but just using my laptop is a bit slow with complex models) ... but perhaps I'll end up working away on my RS :)
Dave
OK ... This is only a very quick test ... but I loaded the MKII RS2000 into the MK1's Studio setup and got this :

It is not optimised at all - lot sof textures need adjusting (especially the RS alloys and windiows) but it gives you an idea what a Studio shot of the MK2 would look like.
This is more suitable for the RS MKII Escort Club :thumbright:

Could you do one of my Mex? If so, would very much like an A3 print. Thanx, Kev.
